A Rating Bonanza For NBC

The Stanley Cup Finals continue to be a ratings bonanza for NBC — both on broadcast and on cable.

Last Saturday's Game 2, a 2-1 Bruins victory over the Blackhawks in overtime, snared nearly 4 million viewers — the most-watched game in the history of NBC Sports Network, which airs on cable. That's up a whopping 237 percent from the first Stanley Cup Finals game that aired last year on NBCSN.

It was also the most-watched Game 2 on cable in 16 years — and the most-watched Stanley Cup Finals game in 11 years, according to Nielsen.

The NBC mothership snared record ratings for Game 1 last Wednesday — a 4-3 triple-overtime victory for Chicago which netted the best Game 1 numbers in 16 years (over 6 million viewers), which fell just short of the 1997 Game 1 numbers which was Detroit vs Philly

It's Not Easy Being A Loyal Companion

It's not easy playing sidekick to "The Lone Ranger," as Johnny Depp discovered while filming a scene as Tonto for the upcoming Disney movie.

A video showing behind-the-scenes action from the film shows Depp and Armie Hammer, who plays the Lone Ranger, riding their horses, Silver and Scout, at a fast clip. Depp starts to slide out of the saddle and eventually tumbles completely off his horse, and is briefly run over by its hooves. A medic is called, and Depp displays what appear to be hoofprints on his tanned chest, though he's standing up and appears fine. Director Gore Verbinski says the movie was a difficult shoot for everyone including Hammer who filmed a scene while standing on what looks like a shaky platform on a cliff with a helicopter circling from above…we've post the video on our Facebook page.

No Charges For Garlin

Prosecutors won't be filing charges of vandalism against "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor Jeff Garlin after he was accused of smashing a car window in a dispute over a parking space.

Instead, he'll receive a hearing at the LA attorney's office where he will be advised about the law and how to avoid such incidents.

According to a police report, the dispute occurred in the parking lot of a Studio City CVS drugstore. Garlin was arguing with the driver of a Mercedes and allegedly broke the driver's side window of her car with his bare hand.

He was arrested Saturday and the woman whose car was damaged has the option of suing Garland in civil court for damages.

Ozzy And Sharon Reunited

Ozzy Osbourne is officially out of Sharon's dog house ... and has moved back in with his wife ... after convincing Sharon he's been drug and alcohol free for months.

It's a big step for the couple, considering they split earlier this year ... when Ozzy fell off the wagon.

Sharon insisted she wouldn't take Ozzy back until he cleaned himself up -- and to prove she meant business, she moved out of the family home and into the Beverly Hills Hotel.

But now, it seems Sharon's convinced Ozzy's winning the war with his demons ... because the two not only walked the red carpet together at the Daytime Emmys on Sunday (and shared a kiss) ... they also went home together after the show.

We're told Sharon is determined to help Ozzy stay off the junk -- she's even hired a "sober team" to monitor the rock star 24/7 and help him steer clear of potential hazards.
